An enchanted blade that allows the user to cut straight into the enemy's soul.

When your hero wields the Diffusal Blade, they can use its magical powers to purge off buffs from enemies. It's like giving them a spa day, but in reverse sending those annoying positive effects packing. And if that's not cool enough, the blade also slows down enemies, making them feel like they're wading through molasses.

Each attack burns 40 mana from the target, and deals 1 physical damage per burned mana.

Burns 8 mana per attack from melee illusions and 8 mana per attack from ranged illusions.

Heroes with Diffusal Blade as Core Item

A core item to burn the mana of enemy heroes with your hero and illusions. Also boosts your damage output and illusions damage output as well as providing great stats.

A core item to do more damage with stats and slow down enemy heroes to keep them within Smoke Screen and Tricks of the Trade AoE. The {agility} significantly boosts your Backstab damage. Also helps burn mana of enemy heroes and renders them unable to escape or fight back with spells.

A core item on your Spirit Bear to do more damage with stats and slow down enemy heroes to stay on top of them. Can be upgraded to {disperser} later in the game.

A core item that makes you a massive kill threat on the map with more damage and control. Also provides stats which are incredible on all your clones.

A core item that lets you slow down enemy heroes and reliably connect with Pounce to lock them down and build Essence Shift stacks with right clicks. Especially useful against {medusa} or high strength cores with low mana pool.

A core item that improves your damage output and kill threat on the map with Swashbuckle. The mana burn applies on every Swashbuckle tick that connects on an enemy hero. Also lets you slow down enemy heroes to reliably connect with Rolling Thunder and Swashbuckle.
